Pops of Colour!

>> Monday, April 6, 2009

i am going to be away all week, out in the middle of Nepal somewhere, so i feel like i need to make a zillion posts today to make up for it!

yesterday i popped down to our local Nepali handicraft outlet to get some goodies to decorate our house. i bought a mirror with a bright and colourful hand painted border with Nepali animals. the only problem is that i wish i had a dark chocolate brown cabinet to go underneath it, it would really bring out the colours of the mirror.

i love dark chocolate brown furniture. i think its because colour stands out so well against it, especially bright colours. here are some pictures to illustrate my point...i wish there was an Ikea here in Nepal =(
