i love the use of the bare wood - no paint - just natural!
tiffany.
mmmm! just the word alone makes me think of blue boxed packages tied up with string, now this is one of my favourite things... woops, i think i got a bit confused with a musical about a family singing in the Austrian alps (which is my all time favourite movie by the way).
but beauty is definately found in these gorgeous key pendants brimming with intrigue and allure...
now i took tiffany's suggestion to mix and match and design my own 'look', so are a few pendants that i would love to treasure...
i love love love this simple wedding dress by samuelle couture. it just makes me want to have a civil wedding (you know how i want to renew my husband & i's wedding vows every year with a different themed wedding - like Seal & Heidi!).
see even civil ceremonies can be beautiful!

somehow my husband and i stumbled across a swiss guy that has started up a skateboard company (wierd longish story)...and now he is going to be opening a store and has enlisted the help of my hubby (i stick my nose in it too!) to get it ready for the grand ol' opening. the swiss guy asked for ideas for interior design which is right up my ally! so i researched straight away and here are some other shops that i thought were cool...i should probably make a mood board for the colours and textures, but haven't got around to it. my hubby will also be showcasing some of his own t-shirt designs which is pretty awesome.
more details to come about the shop and the brand! its all very exciting - just twiddle your thumbs until then....
sorry bad picture quality...my hubby hasn't taught me how to use CS4 properly yet haha.
for quite a while now, Turkey has been on the top of my 'must visit' list, along with Egypt, Costa Rica and Peru - and pretty much the rest of the world! but after reading about sailing on a yacht on the Mediterranean sea, searching through ancient kingdoms and browsing the many bazaars, it really stole my heart because of its diversity since being a prime 'east meets west' stepping stone.
anyway, here is just a small example of [beautiful] Western/Mediterranean influence on Turkey's blue shores, that i will one day take a dip in!

sorry it's another kind of hilton - i don't think i would ever make a post about socialite paris hilton, this is the only time i will ever mention her - i promise!
instead i am referring to sacha hilton, a photographer who lives in the ever enchanting, Paris. he is only 18 years old and is a bit of a boy wonder. i am so impressed by his amazing photographs of interesting people at parties, of little things around his city, and you could even say that self-portraits of himself are a starring feature on his blog.very cool.
here is some hair inspiration since i have been thinking of getting a new hair style. my chemically straightened hair is becoming more and more frizzy/wavy every day, so it needs a fix!
today i'm pretty much going to be in meetings all day...much to my dismay (had to complete the rhyme there!). the only good thing about them is that i get to drink nepali tea and try the variety of biscuits on offer...hopefully that will be enough to get me through the day!
maybe if we had a meeting in a room like this i will be more inclined to be active and awake! loving the light and space....
