Black + White

>> Monday, April 26, 2010

Last week I got bored of looking at my Twitter background and needed something inspirational and just plain pretty to look at. While in search of something I came across Sam Hessamian's black and white photography which I found to be so simple, but yet completely beautiful. There is not a lot of information on him out there, but nonetheless I think his photos speak for themselves...

>> Friday, April 23, 2010

In case you're still not sure...My wonderful, and very kind husband and I booked flights the other night to London! And I'm excited as I am when I walk into a Zara store (if you are a regular reader, you should know abotu this VERY VERY excited excitement that is happening!). We're planning on going in October via Dubai and Turkey, which has been at the top of my travel list for a while now. We still haven't concreted places to go in Europe but I know for sure that Paris will work it's way into our itinerary! Do you have any tips for places to stay visit in any of these places? Please do share :)

Everest Base Camp Trek

>> Saturday, April 17, 2010

So...I made it! After 14 days of walking, vomitting and diarrhea (sorry you had to hear it!) we finally reached Everest Base Camp/Kala Patthar. We reached about 5300m above sea level and I have to say that this trek was the most challenging thing I've ever had to do! I think I pushed my body to it's limit and and now sporting a more slim figure! But hey, I did it! I can now say I've been on the roof of the world and can tick Everest Base Camp off that almighty travel list :))

P.S. I am never walking for more than 7 days ever again, for the rest of my life!
